Advertencia de Viaje
Travelers may face several risk by applying visa online and picking up visa on arrival at the airport or seaport.
Firstly, your personal information may be spread on the internet. This is because travel agencies who offer visa on arrival will collect information of hundreds of travelers across the world through internet. When they inform you the visa approval, they just spread all your personals information to other hundreds of travelers. Several cases are registered that traveler´s personal information has been abused.
Secondly, Airline carriers may refuse you to get on flight due to the fact that you have not got Vietnam visa at the time of departure.
Thirdly, you may be refused to get visa on arrival at the airport because you may not fall into category of picking up visa on arrival (just applied in humanitarian cases, diplomatic cases and emergency cases).
Lastly, your stay in Vietnam may be found illegal and be forced exit out of Vietnam unless the travel agency (who offers visa on arrival) takes the role of your sponsor in Viet Nam. Indeed, no travel agency is acting as your sponsor. The Government is trying to eliminate those wrongdoings yet we have difficulties due to the fact that almost all online visa companies are not based in Vietnam and fall out our jurisdiction.
It is our responsibility to timely update you with more information for your consideration.
